This Privacy Policy explains how CoupleDelight handles personal data when you use our India-first verified community, membership, support, and shopping services. It should be read with the Terms & Conditions.
2. Data we collect
Depending on the features you use, we collect account information such as email address, mobile number, password hash, profile details, verification status, and account activity. We may also collect profile images and verification selfies; connection requests, posts, comments, reports, and blocks; support messages; order, shipping, and transaction-reference details; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
3. Why we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, send or verify OTPs, review profiles, enable community features, process membership and shop transactions, fulfil orders, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate safety reports, improve the service, and meet legal obligations.
4. Verification data
Profile verification images are used for trust and safety review. They are not intended for public display as a verification record. Access is restricted to authorised review and operational purposes, subject to applicable law and our retention practices. Do not upload someone else’s image or any image without their permission.
5. Visibility and sharing
Your profile and community content are shared according to the privacy settings and product features you choose. Contact, payment, order, verification, and safety-report information is not displayed publicly. We may share the minimum necessary data with service providers that help operate the service, such as authentication, cloud image storage, payment, email/SMS, hosting, analytics, and delivery providers.
6. Payments and orders
We do not store full card, UPI, or wallet credentials. Payments are handled through the selected payment provider. For shop orders, we use the contact and delivery information needed to process, fulfil, support, and manage the order. Providers process data under their own privacy terms.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and session technologies to keep accounts secure and signed in. We may use analytics tools to understand service use and improve performance. You can manage many browser cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect sign-in and core functionality.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password and OTP private, use a unique password, and contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access.
9. Retention
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by data type, including orders, payment records, safety reports, and verification data.
10. Your choices and requests
You can review and update parts of your profile and privacy preferences through your account. You may request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance through the Support Center. Some data may need to be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping.
11. Adults only
CoupleDelight is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly offer the service to minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact support immediately.
12. Changes and contact
